This whole issue sure has put me in a mood.

Oh man. This is one of the most lucid articles I have seen on topic. I was thinking of writing on the very same topic, but you beat me to it and probably with far more eloquence.

I believe the pope made an error in judgment when quoting the text in question, but hells bells, how far must one go to explain themselves and apologize.
